Booth Events Quick Start Guide
- Introduction to Booth Events:
- Booth Events is a photo booth platform designed for quick, easy, and reliable event setup.
- The platform works best on a computer or iPad for optimal user experience.
- Getting Started:
- Sign in to dashboard.booth.events.
- Explore the dashboard to access tasks, events, templates, devices, and other key features.
- Create Your First Event:
- Click
Create Event
. - Name your event, e.g., “My First Event”.
- Explore event details and assigned templates from the
Events
tab.
- Click
- Working with Templates:
- Templates control the layout and number of photos taken by the iPad.
- Assign a template to your event by selecting it from the template library.
- Create custom templates via the
Templates
tab and assign them to events.
- Attract Screens and Stickers:
- Create custom attract screens (screensavers) and sticker sets from their respective tabs.
- These are used to enhance guest interaction and photo customization.
- Setting Up Devices:
- Active iPads need a license to be used with Booth Events.
- Sign in to the Booth Events app on your iPad using the same account credentials.
- The app syncs automatically with your event details and templates from the web dashboard.
- Configure Event Details:
- Set event dates, gallery expiration, and guest interaction settings from the event details page.
- Enable/disable gallery access, set passcodes, and configure sharing options for emails and text messages.
- Customizing Templates:
- Edit template layouts by adding photo areas, overlays, or changing background colors.
- Save custom templates and assign them to your events.
- Using the iPad App:
- Download the
Booth Events
app from the App Store. - Sign in, allow permissions, and access your events from the app.
- Configure capture settings, attract screens, and sharing options directly on the app.

- Preview an event to test functionality without uploading photos to the gallery.
- Launch an event to begin live photo capture and sharing.
- Customize timers, capture modes, and interaction settings as needed.
- Sharing and Viewing Photos:
- Guests can email, text, or scan QR codes to receive their photos.
- Gallery updates in real-time and can be accessed via links sent to guests.
- Admins can manage photos, download galleries, and moderate content.
- Support and Help:
- Use the question mark icon in the bottom-right corner of the web dashboard for help articles.
- Email support for quick assistance, especially during event hours.
