Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Select a Pre-Set Event:
   • Open Darkroom Booth version 802.
   • Select the “Sample Mirror Booth Event” pre-set for vertical screens. A horizontal option is also available.
2. Configure Device Control:
   • Use “Device Control” under global settings for settings applied to all events (e.g., lights or intro videos).
   • Use “Device Control” under the selected event for unique animations and commands specific to that event.
3. Set Up Attract Mode:
   • Configure a looping video for attract mode (plays when the booth is idle).
   • Set to maintain aspect ratio and play in full screen.
4. Add Booth Commands:
   • Under “Startup,” add a “Start Session” command to begin the session when the screen is touched.
5. Assign Videos to Photo Phases:
   • Set videos to play before and after each photo, as well as during countdowns.
   • Use random video selection for variety (e.g., different prompts like “Smile” or “Blow a Kiss”).
6. Disable Live View:
   • Uncheck “Use Live View” in settings to prevent it from interfering with video animations.
7. Timing Settings:
   • Set timings to “1 second” for seamless transitions between videos.
   • Increase timing between photos if displaying them on-screen for longer periods.
8. Add Review and Edit Options:
   • Enable photo review and editing options (e.g., doodling or adding emojis) in the text tab.
   • Customize pen colors and sizes for doodling to match your template.
9. Test the Setup:
   • Run a complete session to verify smooth transitions and proper functionality.
   • Ensure animations, timings, and commands work as intended.
