How to Print From your iPad Booth using DNP WCM plus and Booth.Events

Step 1: Gather Your Equipment

  • iPad with Booth.Events app installed
  • DNP QW410 printer
  • DNP WCM Plus print server
  • Ethernet cable
  • USB-C hub with Ethernet support
  • Power adapter

Step 2: Connect the Hardware

  • Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the WCM Plus.
  • Plug the other end into the USB-C hub’s Ethernet port.
  • Connect the USB-C hub to the iPad.
  • Plug the printer into the WCM Plus via USB.
  • Power the WCM Plus using a USB-C power adapter.

Step 3: Configure the WCM Plus

  • Connect a computer to the WCM Plus hotspot.
  • Enter the default password (printed on the unit).
  • Open a web browser and go to 192.168.1.1.
  • Navigate to Device > Date & Time and set the correct time.
  • Under Printers, select the desired paper size (e.g., 4×4).

Step 4: Add the Printer in Booth.Events App

  • Open Booth.Events and select an event.
  • Go to the last page of event settings.
  • Enable printing and switch to App Managed Printing.
  • Select Add AirPrint Printer.
  • Choose the correct printer (e.g., 4×4 if selected earlier).

Step 5: Test Printing

  • Start an event in Booth.Events.
  • Take a test photo and apply any desired effects.
  • Press the print button and verify the output.
  • If printing is slow, check the Ethernet and power connections.

Final Checks

Make sure your iPad stays connected to an internet source via Wi-Fi while using Ethernet for printing. If you encounter issues, check our Knowledge Base or reach out for support.
