Printer Setup Guide for Helio Flare and Helio Posh

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Load the Media: Begin by properly loading the media into your printer. Refer to our knowledge base for detailed videos on how to do this.
2. Connect the USB Cable: Plug the USB cable into your printer and the power supply.
3. Helio Flare Setup:
   • Connect the USB printer cable directly to the Printio on the Flare.
   • Plug the printer’s power cord into the power strip or an available outlet.
4. Helio Posh Setup:
   • Plug the USB printer cable into the available USB port on the outlet.
   • Connect the printer’s power cord to the outlet.
5. Verify Ethernet Connection:
   • On your iPad, check under Wi-Fi settings to ensure Ethernet is visible.
   • If not visible, unplug and re-plug the USB cable and power to the head unit.
   • If issues persist, refer to the tutorial for troubleshooting.
6. Test Printer Connection:
   • Open a browser and navigate to “Printio.doloo.”
   • Check if the printer is listed (e.g., DNP 620 with 2×6 and 4×6 options).
   • Run a quick test print to verify functionality.
7. Helio Posh LCD Screen Users:
   • Navigate to “ATA.dolal” and click on Printio for further printer setup details.
8. Connect to Photo Software:
   • Open the photo software and add your printer (e.g., 4×6 or 2×6 templates).
   • If a printer shows an error, remove it and re-add it.
   • Re-add the printer every time you exit the software.
